River Park Track Practice 7pm April – November. Track practice is at River Park (5100 N Francisco) on Thursday night starting at 7 p.m. Track Practice is member-run, open to all levels and is free if you bring your own workout. Track workouts emphasize interval training, a key to success to improve your running speed, efficiency and form.
If you’d like coaching, our sponsor Second City Fitness is offering a run coaching special in conjunction with this workout: You’ll get a customized weekly track workout along with instruction and feedback on how to improve your running form. These workouts coincide with the Thursday practice sessions. The cost for coaching is $160 for the full season (through the marathon into fall), 10 sessions for $125, or $15 for a single session.
